I've been a video game lover for many years. Road Winder Fantasy was inspired by that love and the desire to write a cool sounding melody that string players learn to appreciate and have fun with. The piece in its entirety takes the performer on a journey through the video game of my mind. The intro comes sort of like the beginning of the level, and the orchestra follows the map of each motive to the very end where they successfully triumph.
